Huge Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure fan here. I really would love Stone Ocean and especially Steel Ball Run to be animated. How about you guys? (assuming there are any Jojo fans here.

February 11, 2021 at 7:56 am #208673There’s gonna be a JoJo anime event in April so we might get Stone Ocean. Steel Ball run isn’t coming before 2025 I dare to predict. It’s so long and animating horses isn’t easy so it needs lots of pre-production and between 6 and 7 is a good place to take a longer break because universe swap.
February 11, 2021 at 1:28 pm #208714It’s certainly possible, however I do think they will stop after Stone Ocean for a bit. There’s no guarantee they won’t ever catch up to the manga; if they did it would be a mess though. I’m not sure the world is ready for animated ending to Stone Ocean though.
February 11, 2021 at 3:30 pm #208730If they caught up to the Manga it might be Game of Thrones all over again. They likely will. Even if Jojolion ends before they catch up, I am almost positive Araki will write a next part. Still, I dream of Steel Ball Run Anime.

I would definitely love Parts 6 and 7 to be animated (I created a thread here discussing Part 6). I have read the entirety of Stone Ocean, and I am currently reading Steel Ball Run (so far so good).
This is how I would rank the parts from favorite to least favorite:
1. Stardust Crusaders
2. Vento Aureo/Golden Wind
3. Battle Tendency
4. Diamond is Unbreakable
5. Phantom Blood
6. Stone Ocean
February 11, 2021 at 5:31 pm #208752Wow your ranking is almost identical to mine! I agree with Stone Ocean being last mostly because of an ending. Enricco Pucci is an amazing villains though.
