I’m more of a big boobs kinda guy, but I can make an exception for Rukia. Quite possibly my favourite heroine in shounen:
“If you can say your heart doesn’t change
Then that is strength”
Official Theme by Tite Kubo: Wing-Stock by Ashley MacIsaac
The deuteragonist of the series, Rukia passed away from the human world as an infant and has spent most of her (after?)life in the Soul Society. Adopted into the great noble clan of House Kuchiki as the younger sister of the head of the clan, Lord Byakuya, due to her resemblance to his late wife, he never-the-less is cool and distant towards her. Her elevation into the ranks of the aristocracy has given others cause to treat her differently, sometimes with barley-concealed envy and resentment, and she struggles to open up to people.
After graduating the Spiritual Arts Academy to become a Soul Reaper and later enlisting in 13th Division of the 13 Court Guard Squads, Rukia meets her C.O. Kaien Shiba, who treats her as an equal and mentors her on what it means to protect others. Later assigned to Kakakura town, it is there she crosses paths with the willful and headstrong Ichigo Kurosaki, who changes her world as much she changes his. Losing most of her powers, Rukia is forced to stay in the World of the Living and adopts the guise of an ordinary human girl while guiding Ichigo. Relieved of most of her burdens, she begins to feel an attachment to life in the human world, even befriending other girls, and she becomes more comfortable just being herself. Deep in her heart, she wavers on what sort of life she wants for herself…
Name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait.
“If I were rain,
That joins sky and earth that otherwise never touch,
Could I join two hearts as well?”
Official theme: T’en va pas by Elsa
The daughter of a whore and alcoholic, Orihime Inoue was raised by her older brother, who later died in a motor incident while she was still in middle school. Orihime possesses a kind and gentle disposition, makes friends easily and refuses to judge people too harshly. Her empathy even extends towards Hollows/Arrancars to a point – Perhaps after witnessing her own brother become a Hollow and seeing his emotional anguish, she understands, at their core, they are essentially creatures in pain.
Orihime later develops her own unique powers, known as the Shun Shun Rikka (Six Flowers of the Hibiscus Shield) which grant her offensive, defensive and healing capabilities. They are manifestations of her own spirit, and their effectiveness is tied to her own willpower. Renegade Shinigami, Sosuke Aizen, theorizes that her abilities go beyond simple healing or even temporal spatial negation, but is a rejection of phenomena itself, allowing her to overstep the boundaries of natural law as she wills it (in layman’s terms, she does not so much as “heal,” as she reverses the wounds that were inflicted, restoring an individual to their original state prior to the event).

Grimmjow: Respecter of women and administrator of true gender equality:
Probably the funniest/cutest Orihime moment in the whole series:
This is exactly something she would say lol
