Surf Ninjas, 3 Ninjas, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Steel; these are some of several movies I can think of that are either made fun of or out-right panned as “bad movies” and yet they might secretly be better than they’re given credit for and they may actually be better than today’s brand of movies peddled by Hollywood.
Let’s start a discussion on the topic, shall we?
Let’s just throw any Steven Seagal film on the table. Also Street Fighter, Masters of the Universe, The Dolph Lundgren Punisher film and David Hasselhoff’s Nick Fury movie. Get that MK annihilation trash outta here though…that movie is really just BAD!!! I remember going to see that film as it came out on my Bday in 98 and I was super excited going in and came out laughing and severely disappointed that it didn’t come close to the awesomeness of the first film.
I love Masters Of The Univers 😸 Also Batman And Robin 🦇
Freaked and all B horror films from the beginning of film history through to the 90’s.
I love this one:
Nice horror(s) without the gore and language or shock value of today’s films.
And the by-line for the sequel “House II: The Second Story”. LOL It works on multiple levels
Manos The Hands of Fate (w/ MST3K)
One of my favorite songs
Understandable but if you compare “MK: Annihilation” to the likes of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and “Captain Marvel”, would you say it’s just as bad, better or worse?
I wouldn’t consider this a bad movie. It’s DEFINITELY better than Bayformers, but I do think the “Bumblebee” film rivals it as the best Transformers film to date.
God, I love this song. I got it on my USB drive.
Can’t really see the flaw in your argument.
I see what you did there
Well I highly doubt MegaJetty1 is gonna see this reply of mine as his thread is a year old and doesn’t seem to be very active these days on the website but this thread looked interesting and my favourite bad movies are…the Tim Story Fantastic Four movies from the early 2000s
Mostly cause I really really like Jessica Alba in that movie and man she looked good in skintight blue spandex.
