I am trying to get back into reading. What are some of the best non woke Sci-Fi books. For example I like Dune, the Red Rising trilogy and the Horus Heresy Warhammer 40k books.
John Ringo – Aldenata Series, Black Tide Rising series, so many others…
Michael Z. Williamson – Freehold (and the other books in the same setting), Better to Beg Forgiveness (and others in the Ripple Creek Security series)
Tom Kratman – Carrera series
David Drake – Hammers Slammers series, RCN series, Bellisarius series, many others (and some fantasy too)
Jerry Pournelle and Larry Niven – Anything by this duo, from Lucifer’s Hammer (which is probably one of the best asteroid impact stories) to Oath of Fealty and others.
…more as I think of them…
For me, the one I never read, but finally did only recently, was Ender’s Game. It was so good. To think that the author wrote his best book as a teenager.
Just be sure to never go looking at social posts by some of the authors in the longer list… Not all are “non-Woke” in real life and some are actual activists.

Daemon and FreedomTM by Daniel Suarez were really good and the author dedicated the books to the younger generation. I enjoyed the reading experience.
