I grew up with metal running through my veins. Music has always been a big part of my life. But not here to share the music I made just to stroke my own ego. Maybe down the line a bit.

Black Sabbath
Dio
Metallica
Megadeth
Pink Floyd
Just to name a couple. I have a list that could go on much longer but lets take this one step at a time.

Not even the zoomers can kill Rock and Roll!
It was 1986 and I was just getting into high school at the time. There was no such thing as internet, so what we did back then was either find or hobby or get your ass in trouble one way or the other. My dad gave me a guitar about 3 years before this and an old amp. My room was in the basement and I would sit and play that thing till my fingers would bleed. I couldn’t read music as we didn’t have money for music lessons. But I could listen to tapes and MTV and play back what I heard. Was one of my more favorite songs to play at the time, my older sister was already a senior in highschool and she would have her friends over, they all listened to the metal of the time. I would always try to show off to her girlfriends bringing my guitar upstairs and playing Megadeth, I remember so clearly getting such a rush doing that, and them smiling and winking at me.
It really helped develop my social skills, and gave me life lessons that went beyond just music.
If the internet was around back then, I honestly don’t know if I would have ever picked up an instrument.
