Zero chance they make it true to the character.
June 11, 2022 at 7:40 am #272371If you know any actors, you tell them to RUN, not walk, to that trio team of writers. Cobra Kai was pretty fun and entertaining. Writing is usually the weakest part of anything new, with maybe, Cobra Kai, Top Gun Maverick and The Boys being the exceptions. I really think these writers have the hot hand right now. If you know any actors, tell them to take any role with those 3 guys.

That said, helly-woke will do all it can to destroy the character/property.

June 12, 2022 at 9:31 am #272477I’ll be the guy dancing in the streets if this ends up being true to his character and not a watered down non-toxic version to destroy the Duke Nukem name like they are doing to every franchise now. Sure, there is hope because the people doing it are from Cobra Kai, but I am not putting much hope into this being done as it should be done. Meaning naked chicks and filthy speech.
