Former NFL MVP Cam Newton has reached agreement on a one-year, incentive-laden deal with the New England Patriots, league sources tell @mortreport and me.
Newton now will step into the mix to try to help replace former Patriots’ QB Tom Brady.

The difference between Brady and Cam is night and day. New England will not win with him unless Belichek pulls a rabbit out of the hat. Then, if things do not go well, Cam will mentally check out.
June 29, 2020 at 12:25 am #173365Well Cam took less money for a pay or play deal. Kap is next for this kind of deal if he’s serious. The QB market in 2020 is loaded. You either take what is offered or you’re jobless. It is not a buyers market. Cam needs to work on his health and fundamentals. Without that it could be all or nothing.
