Walls and borders around the elites to protect themselves, while no walls/troops allowed to guard the southern border from invasion of how many terrorist sleeper cells and criminals?
It is like they are egging on people to protests against the taking away of their rights and freedoms so they can call in the armed forces and declare martial law and create a dictatorship/tyrannical rule they want.
Of course, it’s called social engineering and it works on enough people to work overall. All folks can do is wake up as many people as possible.
That fact we have to wait three more years to get another chance to vote this LIBTARD out of office and kick all their any Canadian agenda trash out, unless the NDP finally takes the heads out of their asses and get a no-confidence motion to passed, freedom in Canada will continue to suffer.
It’s becoming clearer that the people in power are not only disconnected from normal people, but there is no way to make them accountable, as almost everything in the various levels of governmental and judicial and media power is in place to protect them from anything like real accountability.
Given four, six, or even two years of little more than free reign in government authority, a person can do good, or a great amount of harm.
And all the talk about “taking back our country”, whatever country you’re talking about, has gotten old. What happened in Canada was maybe the largest demonstration against a government by the common person in history, and at the moment it looks like it only made things worse, only made the one they were protesting against even more powerful, only made the rules more oppressive and the rulers more tyrannical. I’ll admit the story could be far from over, but at the least, it’s in a dark period at the moment.
This livestream with the politicians speaking about this was truly disturbing. The lies they spouted were of CNN levels. They know what they say is not true, their intent is to support the use of force of the government to bludgeon it’s people into servitude to the government. Truly, truly Canada is in trouble. But then again, aren’t we all.
Trudeau ends use of Emergencies Act, says ‘situation is no longer an emergency’
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is revoking the use of the Emergencies Act, the powerful legislative tool that was deployed in response to protests and blockades that erupted in Ottawa and at border crossings over recent weeks.
“The situation is no longer an emergency,” Trudeau told a news conference.
The only ’emergency’ was to your political agenda/career. And you have failed!
The Conservatives and Bloc Québécois voted against the use of the act in the House of Commons, arguing that it constituted government overreach. Other critics, including the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA), have said the use of the act was unnecessary because the protests were not a legitimate national emergency.
“Today’s announcement is proof that the prime minister was wrong when he invoked the Emergencies Act,” said Conservative interim leader Candice Bergen in a media statement.
“Nothing has changed between Monday and today other than a flood of concerns from Canadian citizens, bad press, and international ridicule.”
The bad PR and how the world reacted negatively to the PM’s tyrannical methods against peaceful protesters, and his lack of REAL leadership skills, si what happened.
And now with the world’s attention in Ukraine, the PM wanted an easy out.
The CCLA last week also announced a lawsuit against the government over its use of the act. The organization said it is now deciding if it will continue with its challenge.
“Even though the orders are no longer in force, Canadians are left with the precedent that the government’s actions have set,” the CCLA said in a statement.
Now what is law has been used against the PM’s political opponents (those whom don’t share is agenda), who is to say when it will be used next, and what little pretext is needed.
An inquiry into the government’s decision to invoke the act and subsequent police actions will begin within 60 days, Trudeau confirmed. He said Parliamentarians will establish a committee to oversee that review next week.
Hopefully, the truth will come out, and that they formally announce the PM/government over reacted, the threshold for an emergency was never meet, and Trudeau resigns from not just as PM, but his seat as well. Leaving political altogether for the disgrace he and his regime caused.
And of course, Trudeau will get away with his tyrannical policies
Maybe I can start thinking that my earlier pessimism was hopefully premature. Still not completely convinced, but him backing down is very likely significant.
Let’s pretend I punch you in the face every morning and make you give me your lunch money.
If one day you did not see me in the morning. You would be relieved and would be thankful.
But it’s only because I was planning on pulling a knife on you at lunch so I could take your entire wallet.
Don’t think because he has done something you gain from they are not about to do something worse. I am pretty certain they just proved they are total authoritarians.
Wow, good job youtube, age restrict a video showing cops behaving like school bullies, sad thing is most cops don’t want this, you can clearly see the dynamic of the few main bullies while the rest either cower or join in on the bullying not to get bullied themselve, and all the cops who openly disagree with all this, kicked out for not agreeing with mandates and/or orders
We already have reports of “phantom honking syndrome”. And the need to be a “victim”.
And there are still protests going on, but on a lesser scale.
With people complaining “But most provincial restrictions have been lifted”, but NOT the federal ones. The ability to cross the border (for pleasure or for work) is still in place.
Historians will look back at this time, wondering how on earth did we survive such mass hysteria and misinformation, illegal/unconstitutional lockdowns, etc.
Tamara Lich receives Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms’ freedom award
The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has announced Tamara Lich is the winner of its 2022 George Jonas Freedom Award.
What did she do?
The Medicine Hat, Alta. resident currently faces charges for her role in organizing last winter’s convoy that brought thousands of people to Ottawa to protest COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Lich spearheaded a GoFundMe campaign for the convoy that collected more than $10 million in donations before the initiative was halted.
But because it was not a leftist agenda protest, they have to be punished by the intolerant left. Freedom Award is very much appropriate.
Hopefully those charges will be thrown out ASAP.
