In part these people only have the power YOU are giving them over you.

I agree with you for the most part.  But sometimes I think you could take a step back and really see this for what it is doing to us.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at them and simply ignore some of this non sense.

We did that with Neo Nazis and KKK members back in the 80’s and 90’s.  They tried to push a bunch of non sense, and we ignored and laughed at them.

To counter my own thoughts is that sometimes you can’t ignore them or walk away. They will follow you and keep pressing.  So I get why you are fighting back.

Just know it is a Jedi Mind trick, and you are playing into their hands via outrage VS outrage.

Their Jedi Mind tricks do not work on me, (For the most part)

I think the biggest difference with the extremist loons today vs the church lady loons of 20-30 years ago, is that the media and corporations largely ignored or downright ridiculed the holier than thou types that squawked about Metal, Rap Music or Harry Potter being satanic.  But now that the lunacy is coming from the left they are embracing and amplifying it.   It’s like we had a filter from the insanity when most of it was coming from the right side of the aisle, that’s gone now.  You never used to see credit card companies blacklisting people or businesses based on political leanings like we have of late.
