Don’t know how things are on the rest of the planet, but i finally just went back to the cinema after 7 months! If anyone else is going back to cinemas yet, please post your movie reviews here, doesn’t matter if you loved the movie or think it sucked ;P
Here’s my first movie review (spoiler free), hope you enjoy it, or completely disagree with it, that’d start a debate that’ll provide me with great entertainment 😁
The New Mutants
Overall, this was a good movie that i really enjoyed, the story was really captivating, though i do think the movie did suffer a bit with it’s production (it did get postponed like 5 times in 2 years), despite that, it’s no where near being the jumble f**k Dark Phoenix is, or even Captain Marvel, definitely surpasses those 2 by miles. It has a pretty dark tone, but still has it’s funny moments, though it can switch really fast between funny and dark, really fast. The only critisisms i have for this movie are, i found the acting for Moonstar a bit flat, and why the f**k’s there no post credit scene?! The acting for the other 4 New Mutants was really good imo, i think they carried the movie very well
Guaranteed reviews for Wonder Woman 1984 and Black Widow coming soon :D
Still haven’t been back to a theater yet, but hoping to go see Tenet soon! New Mutants is on the list as well.
I saw Tenet. It’s one of those movies that you have to see a few times to understand.
Similar and deep like Fight Club
Technicly this movie did come out in cinemas, in japan… Seems everywhere els it went straight to digital ’cause of the f***ing bug 😑
But i really loved This movie and wish i could’ve seen it on the big screen, so i’m dropping a review here anyway 😸
Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution
Well, i have a Digimon as my profile pic, so i guess it’s no surprise that this is my favorite anime of all time, i litterelly grew up with these characters, litterelly, i am now the same age as the older Digi-destined! This movie managed to make me cry my eyes out, and laugh my ass off, let’s say the movie didn’t hold back in showing that the Digi-destined are all grown up. I wouldn’t say i’m surprised by the fact that these characters that i first saw as kids are grown up now, i’m probably more surprised that i’m actually a grown up now, i think that’s what hit me watching this, it got the question stuck in my head “what does it mean to be grown up?”. Overall, the plot was great, i loved that it was full of easter eggs, even easter eggs from other Digimon series besides Adventure! It was a great, i can’t belive i’m saying this, series finale, damn, saying those words is brining tears to my eyes. Maybe it’s nostalgia speaking, but i do wish this movie was longer, as much as i loved it, there’s still part of me that wishes it got the Digimon Tri treatment (aka, multiple movies), damn, i’m not ready for this to end 😭
