We always heard the magic number was 75%.
So that is not 75% of those eligible, but the entire population.
87.9 per cent of those ages 12 and up have now received at least one dose of vaccine.
82.3 per cent of those ages 12 and up are now fully immunized (two doses).
But looking at our overall population:
69.9 per cent of our total population has gotten the double-jab.
74.7 per cent have received at least one dose out of our total population.
Of course, once the drug is being injected into pre-teens, those numbers will climb quickly.
And the goal post will move yet again, IMO.

And I am doubting the restriction will be lifted so everyone can celebrate Christmas as a family again. This two households ONLY with a max ten people combined total for ONLY jabbed people we have had since Thanksgiving (Oct.11 in Canada) is NOT helping families.

Our daily new case count is lower that it was at its lowest after the second wave. but our active case count is still slightly higher than that second wave low by 400+ cases.
And it was stated today that one individual traveler coming back has been diagnosed as having the onicrom variant.
The fact travelers can’t get on an airplane WITHOUT being double jabbed, what does that tell us?
And what a coincidence that this variant came when children 5-11yrs here is now starting to get their jabs…
And what a coincidence that this variant will take over the news cycle while a high profile case is happening in the US…
Ironic how that happens.

for starters, they don’t even have the full correct amount most of the time, it’s just used to impress the public
that’s also creating more problems than informing the public correctly, that’s why numbers are so wrong from both pro/con sides, and meddling politicians just make it worse
