Creating custom characters in video games is always kinda fun to me, I see it as a form of artistic expression. Nowadays customization options have become really extensive, allowing anyone to create a character that can be truly unique. I thought I’d start a thread for anyone who would like to share any characters they’ve created for any game and are rather proud of.
For now, here are few of my Skyrim characters that I’ve spent a sufficient amount of time on:
My ‘main’ on Skyrim, first character I played primarily on the 360 (recreated on Oldrim PC).
First character I made for X1. Actually spent more hours on this than my main (300 hours total) to get to level 80.
Sinard, Knight-Paladin of the Legion
Imperial counter-part to my Nord character – He’s pretty much a “Lawful Good” type guy (which can actually be somewhat difficult to do in vanilla Skyrim as you get railroaded into several quests).
Few more of my Skyrim characters (forum wasn’t letting me post this topic, at first. Too many hyperlinks in one post, I guess).
‘Duncan’ isn’t really a name that inspires dread but I wasn’t planning on him becoming a vampire, initially. He started off as a humble Breton Conjurer.
Devoted this character entirely to just the Thieves Guild and quests and dungeons in the Rift. Even grinded 125 side jobs for Vex and Delvin. Never again.
Current Skyrim character in progress. Doing a modded playthrough on Oldrim and adding any mods in relation to Aldmeri lore, including “Wintersun” (adds Elven Ancestor” deity shrines) and “Falmeroon” (adds Ancient Ancient Falmer ruins to Skyrim’s overworld and additional lore books).
I used to put so much into character customization.
Now, I just look through the default faces, find the one I like the best and change it’s hair.
This is my Monster Hunter World character. Spent a lot of time creating her (And money, since you have to buy a microtransaction each time you want to edit your character. FU Capcom). I think she turned out pretty well :-)

I owned Dragon Age: Origins for PS3 and made a character for each origin story.
I’ve recreated a few of my characters on PC but not all of them, yet. But here’s the first character I created back in 09 and is my main (Human Noble): A fiery tempered redhead who’s tsundere for Alistair.
Also had to screenshot this (below): It looks meme worthy, but I can’t think of a good caption as of right now:
You have to pay extra to customize your character?
That’s some bullshit on par with Konami charging for save files.
The first character I made was an elf that looked like a cancer patient.
There’s just something about cute redheads with big tatas…
I can create that in Saints Row 3 and just have to pay the price of the game. haha
You can change a few things for free – Hair style / colour, facial hair, make up. To change more than that you have to buy a character edit voucher. It is a bit shitty but, to be honest, the game has given me over 3000 hours of entertainment, so I don’t mind giving them a bit more money.
What you spend your money on is your business, bro.
Here’s a picture of my sneaky Khajiit looking for his next house to rob….
Cocaina, because I don’t like spending so much time on thinking of names these days:
My husband and I intentionally decided to go on different routes. Above is a screenshot of my Imperial vampire and below of his Nord werewolf, which looks very badass in my opinion. He didn’t find that Daedric armor, he built it via his smithing skill.
So sneaky, I can’t even see her in the picture!
Here are my other DA: Orgins characters that I recreated (using DA: O Character Creator – Haven’t played the campaign with them again yet):
Dalish Elf:
and Dwarvern Commoner:
