Pretty sure everyone who considered themselves a Star Wars EU fan knew who Revan was. His story was already good in KotOR I but it was expanded on and made even better in KotOR II.
Shame nu-BioWare fucked it up with the Old Republic MMO. What was being set-up as a complex break-down of the light-dark dichotomy and Revan developing his own unique philosophy and motives was diluted and relegated to “lol, he was just brainwashed.” It was completely undermining the point of the story Chris Avellone and Obsidian were trying to tell.
