DC Officially Reveals the Future Leader of the Justice League

After all that has happened in the DC over the last year Dark Crisis, and proclaiming Nightwing the greatest with Batman and Superman saying Nightwing will be the leader of…

DC Comics has officially confirmed that there’s a brand-new leader of the future’s Justice League, and she has a lot to live up to. Meet Trinity: Wonder Woman’s daughter and the leader of the next generation of Justice League heroes.

WTF?  and who the F is that?

Trinity, “daughter of Diana,” makes her official debut in Wonder Woman #800, where she also confirms that she is the sole leader of the Justice League.

    Ah, since when?

… some years in the future in a time when Jon Kent and Damian Wayne have taken on their fathers’ respective mantles as Superman and Batman.

And the official removal of the Legacy characters…

Upon her introduction, Trinity immediately takes charge of the two men…

    Like WTF?

Sounds like a bitch so far.

“I am Elizabeth Marston Prince,” she declares, “Champion of the Amazons. Leader of the Justice League. Daughter of Diana. And the first holder of the three Lassos of Fate.” All in all, pretty accomplished, even if her past is still a complete mystery.

So she is the bestest aver, just cause she said so?

Trinity’s status as the Justice League’s leader begs the “Future State” question: if Lizzie is taking point on the League, does that mean 2021’s line-wide Future State event no longer holds sway in the larger DC Universe? Future State promised to show readers a glimpse at the true future of the DCU, including the Justice League’s future line-up…

Considering the buying customers and long time fans have rejected “Future State”, my guess is they needed to adjust their removal of the legacy superheroes and Dawn of the DC is their way of doing it.

     — has, at the very least, thrown an intriguing wrench into the somewhat stable “future” of the DCU. Trinity presents readers with more questions than answers, which can only be a good thing as DC gears up for a new Wonder Woman title with a new direction.

For me, there is no intrigue, no questions I want to ask.

Be it Trinity or Yara Flor, I just don’t care.

Stop replacing legacy characters with characters we don’t want, don’t care for.

I found the entire plot in that article.

“Trinity immediately takes charge of the two men”

Copyright is running out on those old characters.

Which is great, it means someone will likely do something good with them

Copyright is running out on those old characters.

And that also explains why the back issue market is growing while the current new releases (and agenda pushing in them) have been falling.
