Here in the UK we’ve already been through some of this. The Labour Party (our version of the Democrats) changed the law on postal ballots so anyone could have one instead of just people with a valid excuse for not being able to vote in person. The result was a system open to abuse and abused it was. In 2005 a judge stated that the system was so bad it would “Disgrace a banana republic” when in one case he came across postal ballot fraud being committed in 14 different ways.

Perhaps as a protest people should try posting bananas to politicians who are promoting this idea as a gift for the country they want to create. Though I recommend only sending them to white politicians or you’ll be called a racist.
