I’ve been playing Diablo 4 since the Betas & the official release on June 1st. I finally decided to do a review of it & give some thoughts on the upcoming Season 1.
The video is dark, since I shot it outside at night by candle light. I wanted to pay homage to the Campfire during the character select screen.

July 8, 2023 at 12:09 pm #302787I got it on PS5. I have a lvl 52 Necro. It is a nice looking game and I like the aesthetic.
But, I honestly don’t enjoy the game much. It is VERY repetitive. I thought I would like it since I liked Gauntlet, but it’s just the same thing over and over and over again. And the fact that in Seasons you HAVE to create a new character is NOT something I have any interest in doing. I don’t even understand why they do that, it makes no sense to me. I find it ridiculous. So, I’ll beat the game and shelve it probably.

@darthVengeant yeah the game is hell-a repetitive. But it is very addictive to those like myself that like these top down games. I play on PS5 as well. I play a level 54 Sorceress tank. I haven’t seen this build much but I pretty much just tank attacks with a high HP recharge .
I’ve been a Diablo fan since Diablo 2. I have 2200 hours logged in on D3 at paragon level 2300….does this mean I might be possessed by Diablo? lol

July 8, 2023 at 9:26 pm #302806Grim Dawn was recently released on PS5. I am waiting on a sale for it since my finances are non existing right now since my insurance hasn’t paid me in months & I am pursuing legal action.
July 8, 2023 at 10:34 pm #302808Are you sure about the PS5 thing? I was curious about what they were charging for it at this point and I see no evidence of being on the PlayStation store. I did find it on Xbox though. Or did you mean Xbox? Or am I just a dingdong for not knowing how to find it properly on the PlayStation store?
I desperately need to finish that game. I have gone back and played large chunks of it from time to time. I will get all into it, hit a rough spot and give up for months and then come back to it. But part of that is I tried to spec out my guy in a way I thought was cool and proficient at range killing with guns and pets. But I am pretty certain I just made him suck.
I am going to play it tomorrow :P
