So in the last few years, I have only been watching political youtube channels that are only on the side of my political spectrum and I thought it’s time to get out of the echo chamber and  go out and find some channels from opposing views. I think it is very important to find out what the opposition is talking about and find out what their arguments are. So I wanted to find some political youtube channels whether it’s conservative, liberal, libertarian, or even centrist. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to create a forum so that any who which to search for political youtube channels whether it’s trying to find someone new from their political spectrum or trying to search for someone outside of their political spectrum, can find it here. So does anyone have any suggestions for political youtube channels? I’ll share mine that I’ve found.

    • John Stossel – Libertarian reporter
    • Free to Choose Network – A company that promotes classical liberal economic and political ideas. Shows videos of economists such as Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, and Walter Williams
    • Colion Noir – Pro-gun Advocate
    • David Pakman – Progressive talk show host
    • Langley Outdoors Academy – Pro-gun Advocate
    • Larry Elder with Epoch Times – Conservative talk show host
    • DDayCobra – Do I really need to explain who he is? lol
    • RonPaulLibertyReport – Libertarian talk show (and of course former Republican congressman)
    • The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder – Progressive talk show host
    • Black Guns Matter – Pro Black, Anti-Police Brutality. Conservative. Political commentator for current events.
    • Peter Schiff – Mostly talks economics. Stock Broker and Libertarian financial commentator
    • Breaking Points – Youtube podcast about current events
    • The Amazing Lucas – Pro Black, Anti Police Brutality, Conservative. Political commentator for current events.
    • The Young Turks – Progressive talk show and online news
    • Thomas Sowell and SowellTV – Conservative economist (Channel not led by Thomas Sowell himself, it’s led by a fan)
    • Secular Talk – Progressive political commentator
    • Escaping the Echo Chamber – Offers commentary on current events about both the Left and Right. (Also what inspired the topic title)
    • Ben Shapiro – Conservative political commentator
    • The Daily Wire – Conservative media company

I applaud your effort. If only everyone did the same. Although your channel list is pretty eclectic. Also, due to all the banning I would suggest you move beyond just YT and hit BitChute as well.

Here are some possible additions from both sources. The folks I list I would consider centrists or slightly left leaning and I left out anything hard right leaning.

      – Tim Pool (YT)
      – Rubin Report (YT)
      – Computing Forever (BC)
      – The Dave Cullen Show (BC)
      – Sky News Australia (YT)
      – Michael Malice (YT)
      – YoungRippa59 (YT)
      – Russel Brand (YT)
      – Styxhexenhammer666 (YT)
      – Lauren Southern (BC)
      – The Rageaholic (YT)
      – Rebel News (YT)
      – The Quartering (YT)
      – Romanian TVee (YT)
      – Akkad Daily (YT)

The Amazing Lucas – Pro Black, Anti Police Brutality, Conservative. Political commentator for current events.

I like Lucas a lot even tho he has some bad takes in my opinion. But I love how he lost like 200k subscribers after Biden stepped in office and he dared to criticize the actions of some conservatives and Trump supporters. People were quick to label him a libtard. I feel like his content is fresh because he doesn’t keep repeating the same talking points every conservative must adapt but is actually objective.

Yeah I agree. I started watching him like 2 months before the election. So I saw his transformation from a pro trump supporter to what he is now. Even though there are views I disagree with him I still respect him because he kept true to himself. If he wanted to he could have easily continued to present the same conservative talking points and by now he probably would have gotten a million subs. Instead he chose to present a different perspective on issues, even if it meant losing subs (which like you said, he lost 200k).

I haven’t watched him that actively recently, but as far as I know he still is a Trump supporter and approves most of Trump’s policies, but thinks Trump made some mistakes and mis-spoke from time to time. And he also has a problem with some of the die hard conspiracy theory Trump maniacs who still think Trump has some ace in his sleeve to turn the election becasue God told them in their dreams so.

I feel the same as Lucas. I think Trump did a great job (not a perfect one), but some of his batshit crazy supporters made his reputation worse.

Secular Talk is good shit. I like the fact that Kyle will criticize the right and left, all based on policy too.

I’d like to throw in The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder and maybe even Vaush (even though he absolutely HATES G+G) if you’re not already familiar with them.

For the most part, I try to steer clear from clouding my feed(s) with too much political stuff cause I don’t want to find myself absorbed in it. I want to be informed, but not consumed by it, if that makes sense.

      #233541

Thanks for the info! I’ll definitely have to look into BitChute as well and check some of those channels out.

I have heard of Vaush but I haven’t see much of his content, but looking at his youtube page he seems he has some pretty interesting perspectives I’ll definitely check him out. As for Secular Talk I agree, I love when commentators even if they are clearly from one ideology don’t go so far as to defend everyone and every single thing of their ideology and actually criticize both sides. I always respect that. And yeah I think that’s a con with listening to so many political people on youtube, your feed is going to end up being all political. I’ve had to pause my video history and try to not like so many political videos (even if I really agree or respect their stance) so that it won’t automatically recommend me videos from political channels when I view them a few times. I’m already aware of their channels and if I ever feel like watching them then I will. If one day I feel like watching David Pakman then I’ll just search him up instead of having his videos showing up in my feed. It also helps to not get so absorbed into politics.

Excellent lists. Personally, I see some that I would cross out but I like that you are thinking and get a big range. I’m surprised there’s no Infowars or Steven Crowder on there. Styx is fab. There’s that Lionel guy as well, even though I do not really follow. One guy to maybe add is Jimmy Dore? Again, I like your lists. Good way to expand the mind.

      Crowder is a must watch.

Someone I havent seen mentioned is Dan Bongino the former secret service agent.

There is also Kevins Corner. Dude does all of his vids from his car or driveway. Quite funny.

Lastly fuck Blotube. Go to Rumble or Odysee. Hell you can get credits (some form of crypto) for watching vids on Odysee.

A relative of mine loves Dan Bongino. Others I know listen to Michael Savage https://michaelsavage.com/ and Salty Cracker. https://saltmustflow.com/

Another one is Dahboo. http://undergroundworldnews.com/ and https://twitter.com/dahboo7

I left out Crowder and Bongino because OP mentioned leftist or centrist sources. While both are awesome they are very right slanted. But , again, they are both very good. They make sense, have good content and put on a good show. Bongino is probably more informative where crowder is more entertaining.

        #233688

I agree, Crowder is entertaining and knows how to argue and make a fool out of the other, which is why his change my minds are entertaining and he is good at ”owning SJWs” but I’ve noticed that he relies a lot on the fact that his audience doesn’t know more than him and swallows up everything he says as a fact, especially topics outside America. Sometimes he exaggerates and sometimes just straight up lies, but he is good at sounding convincing so people won’t question him.
