The cartoon with the cigarettes and facebook and suffering and addiction is good, but just wait until Meta takes hold. Dave Cullen mentioned in his video that we are now accepting tech that makes delusion acceptable in terms of seeing things that are not there. Wonder if this will result in schizophrenia in the population? People will be under digital hallucinations like a never-ending acid trip. One commenter said they use VR a lot, but sometimes has to quit due to motion sickness.

Metaverse: Blurring The Lines Of Reality With NWO Transhumanism

Welcome to the ‘metaverse’: A strange new world where the same billionaire globalist elites who destroyed the lives of millions using a pandemic as their main battering ram, will  now try to entice them into a fake utopia created by AI and computer algorithms.

Facebook announced this week it is changing its name to “Meta” and while that might sound like just another corporate rebranding worthy of a yawn, it’s anything but, says Patrick Wood, an expert on technocracy and transhumanism.

The name change is central to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg’s plans to push an agenda that entices Facebook’s one billion users into a new transhumanist reality, says Wood, editor-in-chief of Technocracy News and Trends and author of several books on the topic.

Wood appeared in an Oct. 28 interview with Brannon Howse and lifted the veil on a mysterious new world called the “metaverse,” which will soon take over the internet — and the lives of many unsuspecting techno thrill seekers.

“It’s just kind of unfolding now,” he said. “There’s not been much discussion of it until now outside of the gaming community.”

Facebook is far from the only player in the metaverse. Many hope to cash in on it.

Cell-service provider Verizon, in a press release touting its plans to be a player in this arena, says “The metaverse is coming. It just needed 5G.”

“The kind of digital worlds that we’ve only seen in sci-fi films or in a VR experience snippet — it’s called the Metaverse, and the technology has finally arrived to make it more than an idea,” Verizon states in the release accompanied by the futuristic image below.

Verizon provides the following caption describing the image:

“We’ve caught glimpses of Hollywood’s version of the Metaverse — a heroine walking down a busy street with digital ads swirling in the air while CGI villains lurk in shadows. In real life it could be you, sitting at home, using a watch or glasses to turn your living room into a virtual version of our actual world. Or you could choose to create a fantasy world, putting yourself in a world like something straight out of an anime movie.”

For those unfamiliar, fast-evolving technological advances have gone beyond what is known as “virtual reality,” into what the tech world calls “enhanced reality.”

To get a taste of what it will be like, Wood recommends the 2018 movie Ready Player One.

“It’s a science-fiction movie where a guy puts on these goggles, he lives in a dystopian world, and all of a sudden he’s immersed into this new world,” Wood explained. “And it’s an artificial world but he can travel through it, do things, hug people, love people, shoot guns, do all that kind of stuff in this virtual world.

“A lot of people are likening the metaverse to that movie.”

Big Tech and billionaire globalist elites like Zuckerburg believe they can make your reality better than the actual reality of living in the gloomy “new normal” created by the same elites in the form of the Great Reset.

“Mark Zuckerburg is leading the pack right now. He’s not the only one; there are other companies that are deeply invested in this already,” Wood said. “But Zuckerburg is doubling down, tripling down, quadrupling down, to make the metaverse his thing for the future. He’s going to completely transform Facebook into a metaverse product.”

This is where it’s going to start getting bizarre: A land of make-believe where users will be able to “check out” of their current reality, or mix and match parts of their actual reality with a new reality of their own making.

    Creating a new online identity
“This is a stepping stone straight into the transhumanist meme, where people can live in an artificial world where they can interact just as easily as they can in the real world,” Wood said. “I know that just sounds incredible, but they’re talking about you creating an avatar for yourself that will be your online avatar. It will look like you, talk like you, and you will be able to go from one virtual reality to another. And you will recognize one another in these different realities.”

It’s a blurring of the lines between your physical and your online identity.

Klaus Schwab anticipated this when he described in his 2017 book, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, a new digital economy that would fuel what he calls a fourth industrial revolution and a global reset.

Schwab said “The Fourth Industrial Revolution will lead to a fusing of our physical, digital and biological identities,” which in his book he clarifies is heading toward implantable microchips that can read your thoughts.

These advances in technology, Schwab writes, are “even challenging ideas about what it means to be human.”

“They’re creating a new reality. It sounds weird but…” Wood said, pausing for the right words.

“As some have said, reality is the metaverse, the metaverse is reality. They’re the same thing. It’s just what location do you decide to spend your time in at the moment?”

People will also have the ability to spend digital money in the metaverse.

“They’re saying you could order a pizza in the metaverse and have it delivered physically to your house, or you could turn that around… it’s really crazy,” Wood said.

Zuckerburg touts a new high-end virtual reality headset, codenamed Cambria, which is designed for Facebook’s metaverse. Facebook teased the device at its Connect conference on Oct. 28, and plans to release it to market sometime next year.

According to an article in TechCrunch:

“Cambria will include capabilities that currently aren’t possible on other VR headsets. New sensors in the device will allow your virtual avatar to maintain eye contact and reflect your facial expressions. The company says that’s something that will allow people you’re interacting with virtually to get a better sense of how you’re feeling. Another focus of the headset will be mixed-reality experiences. With the help of new sensors and reconstruction algorithms, Facebook claims Cambria will have the capability to represent objects in the physical world with a sense of depth and perspective.”

Could this be why Facebook has for several years been using facial recognition software to collect data on its users?

    Own nothing and be happy?
Part of the Great Reset involves the masses being enticed into a place where they will “own nothing and be happy.”

“And then you have the universal basic income where people will be getting a government check and sitting home doing nothing,” Howse noted.

Well, now they will be able to use that exponential increase in free time to engage in this new false reality.

Developers foresee the metaverse as the place where all forms of entertainment and media eventually converge. The masses will eat this up.

Imagine how popular it will be to be able to watch the World Series from your living room couch and feel as though you are actually there, at the stadium in Atlanta, watching the Braves vs. the Astros.

“They also believe it’s where online social groups will congregate,” Wood said.

Facebook will drive its more than 1 billion users into this new reality.

“The problem comes in when you won’t be able to distinguish between your reality and their reality,” Wood said.

    A gateway to transhumanism?
Wood described the metaverse as a “gateway into transhumanism,” which is the elites’ plan to create humanity 2.0, which they consider to be a “more perfect human,” They will accomplish that, they believe, by merging man with machine and connecting him to the metaverse.

And at some point you won’t have to wear goggles or glasses. A device will be implanted in the brain – this is exactly where some influential globalists like Klaus Schwab believe the metaverse is ultimately heading.

“They now believe they can download someone’s life experience, whether it’s their soul or brain, wherever they can get enough data, load it into the metaverse where they can generate a person in the metaverse that will act independently of anybody outside the metaverse as if it were that person,” Wood explained.

    Resurrecting the dead?
Wood said tech pioneer and futurist Ray Kurzweil “may well be able to achieve his dream of resurrecting his father, by taking all that information, creating an avatar for his father. His father can now act and interact and respond with people, inside the metaverse. He will never get out. But inside the metaverse he can be ‘alive’.”

Howse noted that this technology will also be adopted and used for evil by the porn industry as it further dehumanizes and perverts human sexuality.

“Oh yes,” Wood said. “There will be no limits. Do anything. If it feels good, go ahead and do it.”

“If you’re not working and you’re sitting at home getting a check, what are you going to do all day?” Howse said. “You will go anywhere around the world exploring and feeling as if you are really there.”

You could visit any city in the world, go to a concert, a sports event, or meet up with distant friends at these virtual locations.

“And you feel as if you’re actually in the concert with the living star or even a dead star of the past,” Howse said.

You could also do a blended reality, where parts of your living environment are there but someone from another country comes and visits you, Wood explained.

In fact, some metaverse junkies are already co-opting the idea into their ideas about time travel and astral projection and contacting other realms.

Others are talking about developing “multiple identities.”

Consider this description of the metaverse’s potential from a group calling itself MUA or Metaverse Astral:

Metaverse の Astral Through the fusion of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, blockchain and Startlink. On the one hand, let people get the ticket to the new world, everyone to participate in the construction, become the creator, open up their own ideal world. On the other hand, it helps people to explore multiple identities and seek the isolation, integration and optimization of each identity, so as to maximize the meaning of life for people.

Howse said it’s easy to see how a future antichrist, as described in the book of Revelation, could use this technology to promote himself.

“It says he will set up an image of himself in the temple of God and speak words of blasphemy against the one true God,” Howse said.

“Yes, people should keep their eye on Facebook and the gaming companies,” Wood said. “It’s going to be huge. And trust me, there will be billions and billions poured into this technology over the next five years.”

Love the memes and the toons. They are like flash cards that contain truth. Some conspiracy theorist says he thinks the lockdowns were to put in the 5g needed for the metaverse. Once we get 6g and beyond, we might wake up in the Matrix, walking down the street seeing ones and zeroes.

Fitts: Toward Global Technocracy And Slavery  https://www.technocracy.news/fitts-toward-global-technocracy-and-slavery/

Technocracy views humans as a natural resource to be exploited, similar to oil or livestock. Controlling economic activity, therefore, requires controlling all the resources. Since energy is the gas pedal to all economic output, Technocrats create a “sustainable development” equation under their total control. ⁃ TN Editor

    STORY AT-A-GLANCE

    > A slavery system, steeped in the ideologies of transhumanism and technocracy, is being created right before our eyes — and the current lockdowns, closing of small businesses and the redefinition of “normal” are all part of a planned global governance system that will end sovereignty and individual rights

    > How do you implement a financial system that no one wants? You frighten people with an invisible enemy such as a virus, and then capitalize on that fear, saying that this new system is necessary because the pandemic destroyed the old system

    > The pandemic also allows for the implementation of new, more invasive surveillance systems

    > The riots in the U.S. were not random. It appears more likely that they were part of a real estate acquisition plan

    > Pandemic measures have severely limited people’s ability to congregate and share information face-to-face. Internet censorship by Big Tech has decimated information sharing even further. Ultimately, they’re trying to get people to buy into a solution before they understand the full ramifications of doing so

How do you market and implement a financial system that nobody would want if they understood its full ramifications — a change so huge that it not only would mean the end of currency as we know it, but a total revision of sovereignty and individual rights?

In the interview above, which is part of the full-length documentary, “Planet Lockdown,”1 financial guru Catherine Austin Fitts — publisher of The Solari Report2 — describes the complicated, “messy” plan to use the current health care crisis to engineer a total remake of world currencies and our entire way of life.

Comparing the move to herding sheep to a slaughterhouse, Fitts explains how the pandemic is lining people up to depend on their governments for protection from an invisible enemy (COVID-19) and then using fear to keep people from living what once was considered a normal life.

The herd mentality includes encouraging debt entrapment to the point that people become desperate for any type of cash flow that can help them meet their day-to-day living expenses, until they willingly give up their rights in exchange for any relief offered to them.

The bottom line is that a slavery system, steeped in the ideologies of transhumanism and technocracy, is being created right under the noses of the people of the world — and the current lockdowns, closing of small businesses and the redefinition of “normal” are all part of a planned global governance system that will end sovereignty and individual rights, unless it’s stopped now.
    The End of Currencies

As explained by Fitts, the central banks are currently working to bring a new economic transaction system online. This would be CBDCs, aka central bank digital currencies. This is one of the reasons why I strongly believe that holding crypto assets could serve to protect you from their plan. Not only will they appreciate by anywhere from 10 to 100 times, but they are decentralized and can immunize you and your family against this nefarious plan.

However, the new system is not yet fully ready, so while they’re speeding up the roll-out of that system — which Fitts describes as “the end of currencies” — they’re also trying to extend the life of the current system, which is crashing.

The problem, as mentioned earlier, is how do you implement a financial system, globally, no less, that no one wants? You frighten people with an invisible enemy such as a virus, and then capitalize on that fear, saying that this new system is necessary because the pandemic destroyed the old system.

The pandemic also allows for the implementation of new, more invasive surveillance systems. There’s the tracking and tracing of infections, of course, but that’s not all. As noted by Fitts, “If you can get people to do their work and education online, you can listen to everything they’re saying.”

Already, pandemic measures have severely limited people’s ability to congregate and share information face-to-face. Internet censorship by Big Tech has decimated information sharing even further. Ultimately, what they’re trying to do is get people to buy into a solution before they understand the full ramifications of doing so.
    The Central Bank Digital Currency

    From Freedom to Digital Slavery

As mentioned earlier, the transhumanist agenda is part and parcel of technocracy. The basic idea is to insert biosensors into everyone, which Fitts says can be equated to an operating system, which is then connected to the cloud and other digitized systems, such as the health care and financial systems. Fitts explains:

“You’re basically talking about being able to digitally identify and track people in connection with their financial transactions. So, it’s a world of zero privacy. But more importantly … if you then institute one or more central bank cryptos, you’re now talking about a system where every central bank in the world can shut you off individually from transacting if they don’t like the way you’re behaving.

Many people are familiar with the social credit system in China. It’s very similar. If you install a smart grid into their car, their community, and now literally in their body, you have 24/7 surveillance and if people don’t do what you say and behave the way you want, you can shut off their money.

You also have spatial control. If you say people cannot travel more than 5 miles, that’s it, because they’re in a complete digital control system … So, this system comes with control of not only your ability to transact financially … but also very sophisticated mind control through the media and those cloud connections.

If we stop buying their products and we stop working for them, they cannot build the system.

“The solution is for everyone to come clean,” Fitts says. “You’re either for the transhumanist slavery system, or you’re for a human system. If you’re for a human system, then you’re going to have to find a way to make money, and engage socially, in the human system, and stop building a transhuman system …

Don’t help the government build Operation Warp Speed. Don’t help [Big Tech] figure out how to inject nanoparticles into your body and hook them up to the cloud. Don’t help Big Pharma make injections that are poisoning American children to death.

Don’t help Big Ag make and grow GMO foods that are poisoning America. Don’t help the government institute corrupt health crises regulations that are really disaster capitalism and making billionaires rich. And on and on and on.”

We’ve done this before. The organic movement, for example, was built by average people who decided to put their time and money into a food system that aligned with their basic values. As a result, we have options today when it comes to food. It’s not all GMOs and fake food. If we want to live free, we now have to act on that wish, carefully reconstructing how we live and interact in order to minimize our contribution to the transhumanist technocratic control system.

I hope Meta crashes and burns, I play enough videogames already to hate my character in Skyrim because he has so much of a better life than me in terms of massive wealth, a family of his own, and a smoking hot wife who looks a bit like Wonder Woman….and I can’t even physically interact with all the stuff I have in Skyrim….why would I want Meta it is the same thing.

    .

Too many links in my last post, so it vanished. Apologies for that. This guy is more positive about Meta.  I’ll post both pro and con, because I am more of a doomer and into the warnings, but the paradox is that the very people who warn me are those who were made by the internet and who I would have never heard of, if not for tech. Hope that you can find ways to profit and build with these Meta changes to the web itself. This guy has been doing VR for a long time. The issue they are now having is that they don’t want one company owning the Metaverse. He’s trying to inform people.

It’s around the 14 minute mark where they get into Meta. I’ll try to post both pros and cons on this thread and topic. I think there are opportunities of course and hope people can use tech to be successful.

AT 17 minute mark, they get into the Metaverse. They say that SomniumSpace already exists. There is also RealVision. The interesting thing about this video is that these people are not for Facebook anymore, but are grateful that they made the Metaverse mainstream, so there’s a lot of positive energy from indie creators to do alternative things from Facebook. Lines between finance, art, and culture are all being blurred she says at end. Your art is finance. Your music is finance.  They are trying to come up with cathy alternatives to the Meta name, but I don’t think that is gonna happen. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=metaverse&t=newext&atb=v241-1&iar=news&ia=news

Do I have to write disclaimer? I do not endorse people who’s videos I post here.

How Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta Already Lost The Metaverse
    Roger James Hamilton
Mark Zuckerberg has just rebranded Facebook as Meta, to focus on the Metaverse. But he’s already too late. Here’s the Four Big Players who have already beaten Meta and are 1,000x the size of Facebook and Meta in the Metaverse.

Plus, what do Unity CEO John Riccitiello and Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney have to say about Facebook, Meta and the Metaverse? It’s all covered in this video, together with the latest stats on Unity, Epic, Fortnight, Tencent, Microsoft, Roblox, Minecraft, Metaverse Crypto and Metaverse NFTs.

The Metaverse isn’t coming. Because it’s already here.

In the words of Neal Stephenson, who first used the word Metaverse in his book Snow Crash “all information looks like noise until you break the code.”

That was A LOT of angles I haddnt really looked at, I’m a quest developer, and I’ve got a couple of IPs that are at the fringe of metaverse, (virtual night clubs and vrchat style games) so I’m knee deep on this personally so these points were all super valuable to note. The only thing I’d suggest differently is that Facebook are bringing to the table, a mass market device, that puts people in virtual reality that’s where the real metaverse is I believe (longer term) but 2d meta experiences are still Gunna be prevalant for a good while yet. And Facebook are looking to find a way to bridge these 60 million games, seamlessly. I’ve got multiple VR games that I would love to transfer players between, but there is no tech to allow that currently.

They said the same would happen with TV and the Internet. And while it’s true those who lose it the wrong way end up worse, but also those who use it the right way end up better. Some use Youtube to learn stuff for life, others to distract themselves from life.

We’re in the same place as the Internet was in 1996, when most people got in via an AOL or Compuserve account, each with its own world. Same as Fortnite and Roblox today. Then Google and Microsoft came along and let anyone have a gmail or msn account, and we could log in anywhere with one identity. The most successful companies in the Metaverse are likely to be the ones that give us the ability to bring our avatars, skins, currency and friends from one world to another, and the worlds that win will be the ones that go opensource. The ones that die will be the ones that try and stay separate. AOL and Compuserve died because they couldn’t change their mindset of controlling the data. It’s yet to be seen whether Facebook can make the shift this time…

    60 million projects? That’s insane
And that’s just Unity. Unreal probably has just as many. And Roblox and other no-code world builders will have even more

the point remains Meta users in 3D worlds is less than 1% and more like 0.2% at this point.
