I don’t want to nitpick, but allow me to nitpick for a moment.
A top level FAQ forum with tips and tricks for using the forum should be stickied at the top of Support and Feedback. It should contain things such as: How to quote a topic (which I have NO idea how to do) what the @ command does, how Popup Blockers might impact the Like button (happened to me), explanations on current bugs, etc. I’ll write it, if you give me the info. But I’m new here. So…
First corollary: A simple quote button to quote a person when replying would be great.
Second corollary: While not a forum, per se, an improved search feature FOR the forums would be great. If I type in FAQ’s in the search box, I should not be seeing front page articles. If there already IS a FAQ, I don’t know where it is. This also helps from creating duplicate threads by allowing finding of existing threads without having to dig.
I know we had asked previously that the G&G team create a “HELP” topic or a tutorial (u-tube clip that can be linked to from the forums), that would explain how things work on the forums.
What is a group? How do you join? What can you do in a group? etc.
What is a blog? How do you create one? How do you follow one? How do you reply to one? etc.
What is a friend? How do you ask one to become one? How do you accept a friend request from someone? etc.
What are favorites? How do you pick one? How many can you pick? Can you un-pick a favorite? etc.
What is a subscription? etc…
Having it as part of a F.A.Q. works.
I know they are working on fixing the forums/expanding the G&G brand.
Hopefully soon.
One thing to put in the FAQS, if you are using Ad-Block Plus, there is a setting that will disable the like/dislike feature.
@Shrap, I can at least help you with the first 2 things
To quote someone, well first off, copy whatever you want to quote, paste it and then press the button with ” (next to the slanted i), then to get out of quote mode just
Like this, with the space inbetween lines, and press the ” button again
@, I @ed you, so now when you click on @ you, which will appear in green, it’ll bring you straight to your profile, there’s probably also a way to get notifications if someone @s you

Well that doesn’t work like any forum I’ve used in the past… Most of the time, there is a link on the post you want to quote. It automatically creates the quote block, includes the name of the person your quoting, and inserts it into the reply. I originally thought that was what reply was on each individual post. Well, that wasn’t it. The @ command is preferable to the quote block in that case.
I’ve used forums/web services where the @ command does a bunch of things. Linking to posts, linking to users, etc.
@Digicat that (I) stands for Italics lol…
Cute kitty 😻😻😻
Why’s the slanted writing called italics??
Fuck… Here’s another pro-tip… Don’t paste more than 5 youtube vids in one post…
@digicat, see now I had to go and look it up. Apparently it was named in honor of an old Italian book maker.

Cool 🇮🇹

Yup, maximum amount of links per post is 4, and that includes images
@Digikat, how are you including emoji’s? Are you pasting them from somewhere else?
@Shrap, on phones and tablets there should be an emoji button at the bottom of the keyboard
On computer right click, it’s on the same menu as copy and paste
I do not have a Copy/Paste emoji right click window… Maybe it’s a browser thing? I am using Firefox.
You have to right click on the lines that you type on, if you right click anywhere else it’ll give another menu with other options like “back” or “save”, it’s confusing…
Yea… no dice. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200
??? Ok, I really don’t know now, I’ve never got that menu, maybe it is a browser thing?? I haven’t used Firefox in years
