Just an example. XD
The guy’s pretty much a textbook example of “Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass.” He’s a total doofus most of the time; telling tall tales, reaches absurd conclusions that no-one but him can understand and trying to compare people’s problems to some of his favorite Jump manga.
But all that belies his expert swordmanship (and his kind heart). That juxtaposition between the comical and serious aspects to him make him a fun character (if perhaps not entirely unique, as there are other shounen protagonists that have a “goofy but with a serious side” personality such as Goku and Luffy).
