Cancelling is a communist tactic where you encourage a population to snitch on each other about any disloyalty to the state. And what’s interesting is pre-Covid I would not have thought it would happen that way. But it absolutely does and they appear to revel in it which I find disturbing and disgusting.
Case in point, I posted a video from “California Insider” where a woman who lived in San Francisco for decades (stating prior to the tech boom) was interviewed. She is an OG leftist/liberal and not a progressive. But even she was totally shocked when during Covid (SF had authoritarian rules you were not even allowed outside) her neighbors called the police on her MANY times when she took her family to the park or playground. She even got the cops called on her once because at some point they allowed you to take ONLY your own family to the park and she has a big family so someone assumed it was more than 1 group. She left California and now calls San Francisco a place of “aggressive conformity”.
