Fox has been infected by the communists

Fox is a neocon outlet: Grifters who know how to stoke nationalist fire and “own the libs” for ratings, but when it comes down to the wire and what really matters, they care more about trying to please the Left than actually conserving the country. A lot of them opposed Trump during the 2016 primaries and only conceded when it was clear they couldn’t beat him, but it doesn’t surprise me they would cave to the demoralization tactics and turn on Trump as soon as things got tough.

And don’t forget the case of Nicholas Sandmann from last year: A lot of neocons initially jumped in on dog-piling on the poor boy and bought the Leftist narrative that he was some kind of white supremacist mocking a Native American. It was like a litmus test that separated the truly principled from those who aren’t.

I’m a little surprised they’ve let Tucker Carlson run for as long as they have, but he’s become the most watched channel in the USA, apparently, so I guess they can’t afford to cut him off right now (I can’t imagine it lasting, forever. But he’s frankly too good for them, anyway).

Now there’s an interesting question. It’d certainly be ideal if news outlets just gave you the facts and let you come to your own conclusions, but sadly human beings aren’t built that way. In highly politicized times such as these, everyone, including reporters, will fall back on narratives that confirm their own biases. Sometimes they’ll even be aware of the other side of the story, but will omit it because it’s inconvenient to the story they’re trying to push. Most “journalists” behave more like activists and will do anything if it means seeing their preferred candidate win. It’s easier to see the world in black and white instead of shades of grey. In time you even start to believe everyone on the other side must be evil if they’re not with you.

But I don’t think it’s exclusive to America. Even the British media isn’t immune to partisanship. The BBC claims objectivity, but has proven way more sympathetic to left-wing causes (though they stopped short of endorsing Jeremy Corbyn. Labour’s election manifesto was so far left-wing even they had to say, “Uhh, this just isn’t going to work…”).

I half-wonder if the partisanship is on purpose: Keep people divided on the social issues and against each other. Radicalize them, so they can’t see the other side might have some valid points about what’s happening in their country and prevent a consensus from being reached. It’s really interesting to note these billion-dollar industries own a majority of the media. It’d be quite easy for them to craft a left vs right narrative and trap people in that paradigm.

Thank you for starting this topic.  I tried listening to Fox News on my Sirius XM app in the morning at work but holly heck what has happened to that network?  Even Harris Faulkner has gone woke.  I am shocked.  Tucker is my last hope and I love Tucker.  I like Laura Ingraham (SP)  too.  Hannity is just annoying.  I pray we don’t lose Tucker or I am done.
