From this point on, there is only pain.

Our country and the west has been so damaged there is NO way what we know and enjoy now continues.

What you understand now as day to day reality will dramatically shift very soon. I suspect it will happen at the time of the election but maybe later.

Things are so bad that they either get far worse or they get worse because we suck it up to make things better.  These are your only choices.

The idea that that things can get better without you personally sacrificing or being involved has ended.  Change is coming and soon.  We are 1 major institutional failure away from near chaos.

I remember seeing Terminator 2 decades ago.  I saw the opening where a child is in front of a TV being lit up by it.  They pan to show you that the TV case is being used to house a fire to keep people warm.  I recall at that time thinking, what if that is what it’s like?  Knowing the comfort of society and it being gone and missing it.
