Destiny 2 is pretty much just more of the same so if you like the first Destiny you will like the second.
DayZ doesn’t really have much story to it. You spawn somewhere in the countryside of Chernarus, a fictional Soviet country, which is zombie infested and run down. You have to scavenge food, water, clothing, weapons, medical supplies etc while fighting off zombies and other players that want to kill you and steal your gear. You can team up with other players and build bases and cars or just go about yourself ambushing other players or hunting, fishing, cooking etc. The goal is just to stay alive.
Going through a second playthrough of FF7 Remake. Such a well done game.
I’ve been getting back into older Arpgs that have been gathering too much dust lately, such as Diablo III and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Also, Transformers: Devastation has been occupying a lot of my time. Very underrated gem.
I played the demo and it was good. The combat is unique.
Quite a bit of my expendable income goes to Tabletop gaming, I think Ive spent $400 on minis this year alone so I dont spend that much time playing video games. I think the only games Ive even bought for the PS4 are: andromeda, skyrim special edition, FF10 / F10.2 remaster, FF12 remaster, FF15 then the fallen order witcher & FF7r.
I am currently playing Spider-man. Most recently finished Witcher III, Assassin´s Creed Origins and Horizon: Zero Dawn.
I liked AC Origins for the Egypt plot. The Layla plot made no sense for me, even after trying to read about the overall franchise story. Should i get Odyssey?
As for future releases, I am going to buy Cyberpunk 2077, but i am still craving for more Deus Ex.
I enjoyed Deus Ex: Mankind Divided; reportedly another release in the series is possible, sometime in the far distant future.
Hello again, EdSnark1 and Anonymous, thank you for your replies. I have not played FF7 Remake fully yet because I am busy with Kingdom Hearts 2 at the moment. However, I cannot wait to play it again and again, once I am finished with KH2.
Hello again Witchfinder_General, thank you for your reply. I have not played an Arpg before but I have played Jrpgs. I have heard of the Diablo franchise but never played it before. I also never heard of Van Helsing or Transformers: Devastation. However, I am interested in what the games are about.
Hello Idfprog, thank you for your reply. I appreciate it that you like Marvel’s Spiderman, the Witcher franchise, the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and the Horizon franchise. I am agree with you that Assassin Creed’s plot can be a complicated plot to understand. I am glad that you are enjoying Origins though. I watch Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on RK Outpost’s Twitch channel and it has a lot of RPG elements inside of the game. If you like RPGs then it is the game for you but if not then maybe you can find another game that does not contain those elements. Regardless, I am also looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 and appreciate your opinions and insights.
I’ve been having a hard time with anything holding my attention.
Honestly, My PS4 is used more for playing remasters and remakes than anything. haha
Saints Row III, Assassin’s Creed II and Ion Fury is what I’ve into lately.
I never thought I would hate a Kingdom Hearts game. The gameplay itself was very good but the story ruined it for me.
The story felt extremely disjointed and dragged on until the end and then they tried to cram it all in the last few hours.
I ultimately finished the game because I was bored with it. When I was discussing the game with a friend he mentioned the ending, and it occurred to me that I couldn’t even remember what happened in the ending… I was that disinterested by that point.
I am currently playing Spider-Man. I knew it had good reviews but I was floored by how good the gameplay was. I also like how respectful it is to law enforcement in this day and age.
Next game will probably be Control. I love Remedy.
Thank you StarLord, for your reply. I appreciate your honest insights and opinions. I do not hate the video game but it was overhyped. I am playing Kingdom Hearts 2 currently and I am enjoying it on PlayStation 4 through KH 1.5 + 2.5 remix. I feel like KH3’s story was rushed compared to KH1 and KH2. I believe if Nomura had Kitase or his former team as an editor to his story of the game then the story would match the gameplay.
Hello again StarLord, thank you for your reply. I am interested in playing Marvel’s Spiderman, but I am playing KH2, Final Fantasy 7, and then Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm trilogy. I agree with you that respecting law enforcement is a rarity in video games these days. When you play Control then let us know how you like the game.
