I am sitting here watching this movie after not watching it for a year or so.  It is so stupid.  It reads like a liberal propaganda film.

Stupid empowered woman unleashes monsters on the world to save the planet.  Nevermind the millions of people she kills.  Every position of power is held by a woman.  The world ends up destroyed.  Kind of like movies, TV, sports, and the US right now.

They did get one thing right though.  In the end, the world ends up in disaster, flames, and death.

So you are say if one has a position of power/authority but is unwilling to take responsibility of their actions, the end results is a world of “disaster, flames and death”?

Sure sounds like what we are getting now in the real world.

Why can’t they just make a good movie about the monsters and not do all the social commentary bullshit?   For 50 fucking years, they have been pushing the earth is dying bullshit.

Well Godzilla, or Gojira, was from the very beginning meant to be a movie built on political messages.

The Japanese Gojira was a symbol of the terror of nuclear weapons, it was the Japanese people’s way to show how scary nuclear weapons are since they had no other way because censorship about the effects of nuclear weapons was extensive in Japan because of the American occupation of the country after the war ended.

America and Hollywood then hijacked the franchise and built their own narrative around it, but Gojira is and has always been built on ”social commentary bullshit” and ”propaganda”.
