I owned the MCC on the X1, I would play it primarily for the story. Then I got it again on steam, and somehow I love it even more. I guess without the limitations, I will play it while listening to podcasts and get the hardest achievements possible. Though one of the interesting things about the MCC is Halo: CE. The original game that is running is the PC version from the early 00s, developed by Gearbox. The version is really REALLY awful. The poor lightning, shadows, and even the models of some of the characters are just badly implemented. So if anyone is wondering why we enjoyed an ugly looking game, that was no the case. The original game looks (and still looks) gorgeous. Whatever is on the MCC is not THE version from the Xbox days.
