@DigiCat It seems to go well beyond the typical virtual-signaling and expose SJW hypocrisy in how they have no problem doing exactly what they accuse their political adversaries of.
Anyway, I think I’ve seen enough. Normally, if someone calls something anime just because it’s done in the same visual style, I bite my tongue and let it slide because I don’t want to risk coming off as a weeaboo puritan. But I’ll never accept this as anime, especially when it’s devoid of that particular Japanese subculture which gives anime its own unique feel. This is a very soulless product, but it’s not just cheap imitation looking to make money: It’s a ghoulish Frankenstein out to reinforce certain political meta-narratives. It’s just slightly more subtle about it compared to say, a lot of Western comic books in recent years.
