@Vknid
I run around exploring everything, if a quest pops up I do it when I need a break from exploring. It is more about the world at this point than even the story “Which is btw excellent” The music is sometimes really to soothing. When I am on a quest I pop on IRON MAIDEN and go to work.
Just cannot find to much bad with it so far, did find 1 bug and reported it . But hell in most games by now I have found and explloited many, they did their Due Diligence in checking it over. I think the Devs actually play this game vs so many others.
@Mustangride1 : You must not be understanding here.
As I stated in a previous post, the Witch and Wizard choice changes nothing in the game except what the dormitory is populated with, that’s it. Choose Wizard or Witch, the faces, hair, clothes, body and story do not change.
“The only difference between the Hogwarts Legacy witch or wizard choice is the dormitory that the character stays in and whether their room is populated by witch or wizard students. Some characters may also refer to the player as the chosen option.
Picking the “Witch” option will place the character in a dormitory with fellow witches. Alternatively, choosing the “Wizard” option will have the character staying in a dormitory with fellow wizards.”
When it comes to gameplay or story, there are no real differences. Therefore, players can choose either option and still fully enjoy the game. There are no downsides to picking “witch” or “wizard,” so go with whatever your character identifies as.”
So, as I said, there is no defined female or male in this game. Witches are not the female, Wizards are not the male. It’s not as you said (not in this game anyway). I didn’t make the game that way, so it’s not me saying it.
The reason I said it was pandering is because there is no female or male option with body type, etc fitting each separate gender like has been in gaming since the dawn of man. Why would that not be there? There is a clear reason. They are trying to cater to a small percentage of people who want to be trans/non-binary etc. The dev’s said it themselves.
I’ve explained this enough. No sense in going on about it. On to playing the game and having a blast.
It was unintentional since my laptop is a low-res gaming laptop but I’m glad I’m having little issues with the game. The only one I’m having is that sometimes the action scenes start lagging visual-wise but other than that, I’m having no problems.
As for my gaming style, it just depends on what I feel like doing when I log into a game. Although in the case in that pic, I just wanted to see what would happen if you stroked a cat😂
I am now 18 hrs in, playing on PS5. Finding some frustrations and having to continually search online how to do things because the game doesn’t tell you, and I am not a stupid gamer. Such as a questline requiring me to Pop Balloons, and I had NO idea how. Game never said a peep about popping balloons before. The broom controls are not enjoyable and I frankly am going to skip all the broom racing, because the one required quest that had it was enough for me to never want to do it again. You also cannot quit once you are in a race/time trial, and if you quit your game, it starts up right back at the beginning of race. You are forced to finish it. I personally despise racing in games like this, and Witcher 3, etc. Not my thing.
The length of time required to grow things is way too long as well. I let my game set for the 15 min and came back after doing some things around the house. I know you can get fertilizer, but it still needs to be like 30 seconds and done.
At 18 hrs in I STILL cannot unlock the locks everywhere. So, there is going to be a bit too much re-treading ground imo. The unlock ability should have been added much sooner.
But, I enjoy the characters, atmosphere, and story. The Room of Requirement is pretty cool. And the herbology professor Mirabel is a total Poison Ivy, and pretty hot if I may say so. My character is named after a Japanese idol/musician I like.
I am going to have to buy this game. Probably for me AND my daughter. I am watching people play it daily for the Zen in it. The game seems very soothing and I need more soothing LOL
There is multiple challenged you have to repeat to get the ability to unlock things. It is all right there in the Quest description. I just fly around collecting the items then fast travel back to him. I have found as you progress in it “And other quest” you find many more side quest unlock and or become available…. STAY ON TARGET if you want to unlock the one you are on or go full side quester like I have.
Hell I know @Roas is at level 35 or was when I checked in tonight, Im sitting at 31 right now. He is building a full “CORE” character and I am Full on Dark arts and upgrading my Legendary gear as I got to improve the dark arts. Seen a few others doing it completely different. Seems not right or wrong way to play it or build your character.
Though arming the 1911 pistol is just pure hilarity.
These were too funny to not ignore🤣
I am addicted to this game. In part because it is fun as hell and also because I find it very soothing. I am shocked to see a AAA game this polished out the gate. It just goes to show it is possible and we should not accept crap.
Same here.
Me when I want to play on something on Steam: Should I play ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ or ‘Crusader Kings 3’?
Me after wanting to play ‘Crusader Kings 3’ but then “conveniently” forgetting about it: I’m going to play ‘Hogwarts Legacy’🤣!
I just wished that they would’ve gone more in depth in making it immersive, like instead of having classes be just random missions every now and then have like a calendar simulation like the Persona games. Also, have more consequences to sneaking around during the night as it is a dorm system. I would’ve also wanted more interactions and things to do in the dorm because right now there are no reasons to ever go back to the dorm after the first time.
Other than that, it’s a near perfect game for any HP fan or gaming fan in general
I may have a Vivarium addiction lol
I don’t know @Mustangride1 but I think you are enjoying this game. < BWAH HA Ha ha > 😂
100% enjoying it… I put good money to it and will get every single pennys worth. I have gave up guessing when I will complete it, I keep getting caught up in side quest and building shit.
This fucker goes Co-op you are going to see me and @Hollywood Scholar racing our Shreks for sure.
This game is like some of my guns, Massive Giggle factor to playing with it and thus I must.
@ I am 51 hrs in and only done the second trial in the storyline. I do all the side stuff and collectables mostly. This will probably end up being 100 hrs by the time I am done. It’s worth the money, but I think they went a bit too far with stuff like the Merlin Trials (getting ALL of them that is) and the vast amount of collectables. It’s a bit TOO much. You think you have got all collectable quests, and you get another, and another. It’s nice to have stuff to do and find, but I think they just went a bit too much as far as amounts with it.
