How and Where do you usually sell you collectables? Tips?

Hello I’m William, as a collector I made a lot of irresponsible purchases over the years and I’m trying to sell a lot of stuff off. I’m trying to sell stuff at Mercari but is eBay also a good place? I try to not sell at video/pop culture stores like Vintage Stock because they won’t give you much of anything. Where do you all sell your collections? Are you successful?
