Geeks + Gamers › Forums › Community Hub › General Discussions › How can we make Geeks & Gamers grow?
I want to start by saying, I have been a fan of Jeremy Prime before I started making videos. I watched him when he was making videos in his car.
I was excited when he launched this site. I was hoping it was going to skyrocket. There are a lot of people here, yes, but we should have MORE.
This is the most popular subforum on the site, so I decided to post it here.
What do you guys think if we ALL posted a link to the forum inviting others to come check this place out? I’m going to post it on my Facebook, IG, Twitter & Youtube…that’s all I have.
I’ve been thinking about making a video covering Geeks & Gamers, I wanted to do it with a T-shirt but due to unfortunate financial situation brought on by my insurance (I’m on Long Term Disability for 2 years, I can’t afford a luxury item right now. I haven’t even purchased a new game since December)
Would you guys watch that video? You better, Ya Bastids! lol
What other ideas do you guys have?
I am sorry to hear about your situation. I know you did not post that for pity points and that’s not me giving you pity just recognizing your troubles and praying those things get easier for you.
I would watch such a video.
On the forum side, we need more interactions.
Right now, I find it is the same small group of people posting, sharing memes, sharing articles, sharing videos, replying, debating, etc.
I don’t know how much/what premium membership brings, and if there is more activity there.
Same goes for YT channel memberships/perks, with member only streams/vids.
G&G has being growing, by adding more channels, more programs, more team members, etc. So there is growth.
I don’t know about viewing numbers or how much more revenue those channels/programs are bringing in.
They are been doing more in-person gatherings.
They also have a store (where they sell G&G merchandise) – link at top of forum.
I am sure Jeremy and crew have lots of such business discussions about such things, and growing G&G.
Many people who watch them on YouTube usually just continue with their day afterwards, rather than check out the forums or Discord.
