Hunter X Hunter is quite superb although I’ve only seen the Hunter Exam Arc, the Zoldyck Family arc, Heavens Arena arc, and the Yorknew City arc. Plan on watching next arcs soons.

My favorite characters are Gon, Killua, Hisoka, Illumi, and Chrollo.
The Chimera Ant Arc is insane in its hardcore nature. You are going to love it.
It’s a damn shame the manga has ground to a halt over the author’s persistent illness. It is even worse, because the Expedition Arc, at the point it’s at…is boring as hell and needed to hurry up and move to the next phase. It is definitely the weakest point in the series, imo. Course, it may have something to do with the author’s continued ailing, which I know for a fact if you are not feeling well the creative product suffers.
