So now it’s Iran’s turn to show off, apparently they have launched dozens of drones with Israel as the target. As for now, not much is known so we will have to see what happens next. We live in interesting times…

Hours earlier, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards seized an Israeli-linked cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz. The move came days after Tehran said it could close the crucial shipping route and warned it would retaliate for the Israeli strike in Syria.
And I would call it “unstable times”, as too many people seem to want what stable people don’t want. That is war, conflicts, destructions, deaths.

April 14, 2024 at 11:39 am #316778Around 97% seems to be the correct number, 7 missiles managed to hit. But Iran made warnings beforehand, my guess is they wanted to give a little tap to show they won’t let anything slide, without risking a full blown conflict as it would get extremely bloody.
I hope Israel does not retaliate and further escalate.

I won’t even pretend to understand the layers of conflation, obfuscation and propaganda going on by all sides. I am confident that unless you are over there experiencing it you do not have a grasp of the reality of it
Which for me makes people here shaking their fists, saying horrible things to one another and fighting so absolutely ridiculous as to make me almost hopeless.
We will essentially fight each other simply because someone told us someone else dislikes us.
It’s like if the schoolyard bullies figured out they don’t have to fight anyone or get in any trouble. All they have to do is tell a few lies and everyone on the playground will fight each other and they can walk by and grab all the lunches.
