If my employee did that, I would turn in my resignation that day. I would not work for a company that blatantly tells me that I’m racist simply because I’m white. You want to eliminate racism at work, then fire those that actually do racist things while on the job. Treat everyone equally while at the job and it won’t be a problem. Anyone who requests a day off, should be able to do so with no questions asked, regardless of skin color.

WTF! We are not responsible for the actions of our ancestors, we are responsible for our behaviour in our own lifetime.

We are responsible for remembering the past to make sure our future will be better for everyone.

The only way to get past these perpetual problems is working together not this BS social division.

Companies have no business getting involved.

IMO there’s no “should” here. There are times a day off isn’t feasible. But whatever the policy about days off might be, skin color should have no relevance — that used to go without saying, never imagined it wouldn’t.

I strongly recommend Timcast or Tim Pool. I became aware of him watching Joe Rogan podcast where Pool called out Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and Twitter lead legal counsel about their biased nature against those who they disagreed with.
