        If there was, I’d know if it by now. Sadly, no sign of it but there is the light novels and the manga (I think).

          Season 2 and 3 were green lit in 2019, and the Spirit Turtle Arc will be animated later this year.

            Well I’m glad they didn’t abandon it. The Rising of a Shield Hero is one of the best anime to come from the last decade, IMO. And if the next story arc has what I think will happen (huge spoilers if I mention it), expect the Twitter mobs to go ballistic over this show again. Just expect to be really satisfied when it does happen.

              Spirit Turtle Arc was all right. I like the current Other World Arc better so far.

              What I will like will be the slight changes the anime will make over the manga. Rishia hadn’t been depicted in the stupid mascot outfits in the anime, yet, and I hope that small change continues. That little thing really annoys me.

                This anime was great. The fact that it makes SJW’s mad is the entire reason I watched it.

                I couldn’t wait for the anime, so I started reading the light novels. In the middle of 19 right now…

                From what I can tell, there are 22 volumes but then it went on hiatus or something. I don’t think it’s been finished. I have no idea why. I can’t find any info on Aneko Yusagi and why it hasn’t been updated.
