I’ve recently been playing Kirby Star Allies and I. Can’t. Stop. Playing. It! I wish that there was multiplayer D:
Any Kirby fans in the house?
Yeah I’ve been a fan since the 1st game on Gameboy, these are not all I have but the most important one imo.
Kirby’s pinball land was the first Kirby game I played on the Gameboy and is good fun. Kirbys air ride on the cube is another fun game, and I would also recommend Kirby’s planet robobot on the 3ds.
Kirby’s adventure! <3
I can’t quite remember if my first experience with Kirby was with the N64 Smash or if it was Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards.
Crystal Shards was definitely the first purely Kirby game I played. At the time I had no idea who any of these characters were. Color me surprised when I learned that folks like Ribbon and Adeline weren’t consistently recurring characters in the franchise.
I still haven’t played that many Kirby games, but I’ve got a nice number under my belt. Crystal Shards, Nightmare in Dreamland, Super Star Ultra, and Planet Robobot is I think the full list that I’ve played. (Also any game that was in that anniversary collection that was on the Wii.) I wanted to get Squeak Squad, but that ended up never happening.
Kirby was my main in Smash 64 and Brawl. I also played Kirby Return to Dream Land, Planet Robobot, Star Allies and forgot to save in Kirby Super Star and haven’t played since then.
Does Super Smash Bros. count?
I also have Kirby Dream Land 2, picked it up at a flea market years ago, love that game, loved the cartoon as a kid too
I love Kirby games. I think most Kirby fans, especially the vets regard Kirby Superstar as the best. But, Krista, if you play Kirby Dreamland 3, Samus makes cameo and you do a mission for her. She wants Kirby to exterminate a horde of Metroids in exchange for a Heart Star. The Metroids can only be defeated using the Ice ability. She appears at the end of the level without her helmet.
The other old school and obscure nintendo guest characters in that game are Goku & Chao from Famicom Mukashibanashi: Yūyūki. And Hikari and Donbe from Famicom Mukashibanashi: Shin Onigashima.
Here’s where the four characters look like.
Chao & Goku
Hikari & Donbe
Yeah I’ve been a fan since the 1st game on Gameboy, these are not all I have but the most important one imo.
I’ve only played the GBA titles Nightmare in Dreamland and the Amazing Mirror on emulators.
VERY good games. Thoroughly entertained.
