As games their pretty meh. They are clearly designed for kids, in that regard, but, they are designed with the knowledge a parent will, probably, be playing with them so there’s tons of fan service, clever dialogue and good visual gags.
In Lego Batman 3, for instance, Adam West is hidden in every level. No kid knows or cars who Adam West is. That’s for the adults playing.
