I needed the metaphysical I guess and yea… Lynch is basically confusion as a genre which I feel is almost an antithesis to Dune, which is generally about awakening and enlightenment.

This review cracks me up. He’s in character and in cosplay the whole time. Reminds me of those old photos with the direct and side angle in the same image. When I think of real Geekdom, it’s something like this. He’s believable in character. Just awesome. Giggled the whole video.
One odd honest issue I have with the film is the scene where Baron Harkonnen is healing from the gas injuries and in that vat of black slime. Are those weird pale looking nurses supposed to be the Tleilaxu? The look of them seems off to me.
