The Little Mermaid? Really? “Racist Fish”? I didn’t know fish could be racist but what do I know? I guess Elks are too. What’s next? Trees?

COPENHAGEN, Denmark – The famed statue of Hans Christian Andersen’s Little Mermaid, one of Copenhagen’s biggest tourist draws, has been vandalized with the text “racist fish.”
The words were tagged on the stone on which the oft-attacked 1.65-meter (5.4-foot)-high bronze is sitting at the entrance of the Copenhagen harbor.
No one has taken responsibility for the act.

I feel pretty certain anti-racism has become a religion for these nutters – Using some of the most flimsiest lines of logic imaginable to find a reason to punish for wrong-think.
The original Little Mermaid story was written in the 1800’s, and we all know how people thought back then. But we know these vandals don’t care about historical context.
