Masters of the air is ready after a decade

That actually looks awesome.  The filming is gorgeous.

It really looks like it highlights something and points it out.

WW2 was a war.  Vietnam was a war.  Korea was a war.  Iraq was a war.

But these things are not equal.

WW2 was a generation of people that feared they and their children would live under communism.  Or under the absolute violent oppression that was Hitler.  Those people back then, did WHATEVER they had to so as to make certain that did not happen.  They did not have their lives taken, they offered them because they felt it was worth it given the consequences of losing.  And that threat was VERY real.  Hitler would have won had he had a long range bomber.  The WW2/depression era folks were hard as nails.  Now people are so soft if Hitler showed up today I fear it would be no contest.

This movie looks great.  Thanks for showing it to me.

No doubt the man was evil but the assertion he was an idiot is silly.  Are you saying he took over a large part of the world because he was stupid?  Was it by accident?

If I am a QB for a football team and I throw for 500 yards a game and almost win the superbowl, am I a terrible QB because I did not win the superbowl?

Hitler was apparently gifted in the ways of subterfuge and force. He was an awful person apparently full of hatred but to call him a feckless moron is to disarm people in the future when it comes time to pointing out something similar.  Like the current governments of the west.
