      if you dont know already theres a mortal kombat live action film coming out in april, i didnt here about this until i saw the title on the Hbo max 2021 trailer, but ive been keeping tabs on it ever since. theres no trailer yet but they just dropped the first images.

      im really excited for this movie because mortal kombat has been neglected for decades when it comes to movies, and Mk is one game i think has potential to make awesome movies with modern special effects.

      the only thing im worried about is the new character cole young who may be the main character, which im not sure is a good move, but im open to it.

      so what do you guys think of the images, plot details and new character? are you excited?

        i saw the title on the Hbo max 2021 trailer

        I’m assuming that means it’s going straight to streaming on HBO max, i would’ve rather it be able to come out in theater’s, but oh well, guess i’ll watch it with my cats 🐱

          Check out Mortal Kombat Legacy on youtube. It was a short series that has great fight scenes and a pretty good story. But yes, I’m on the excited boat along with you.

            Since an animated retelling of the first game already came out last year, I’m hoping they some how fit characters like Smoke who the games have been neglecting of late. Though I heard a rumor that if there is a Kombat Pack 3 that Smoke will be added into 11.

              @digicat its coming to theaters the same day it drops on the streaming service, so hopefully one near you will be open when it releases

                I am optimistic with this one, most of the images looked great but i still have some concerns. They filmed some of the movie where i live which is a big deal because nothing like that happens here, i worked next to someone who was an extra in the film and he couldn’t say much for NDA reasons but he did show me an image that he wasn’t supposed to and movie has my attention.
