Death of a Unicorn is an upcoming American black comedy horror film
A man and his teenage daughter accidentally crash into a unicorn while they are en route to a crisis management summit with his boss Dell Leopold and Leopold’s family. The Leopolds seize the unicorn, and their scientists discover that its flesh, blood, and, most of all, its horn are endowed with supernaturally curative properties, which the Leopolds seek to exploit. However, as they delve deeper into their research, they discover the deadly consequences of their actions
Novocaine – looks like they’re trying to copy Deadpool’s irreverent superhero formula. Trailer’s good though.
OK, I like the part where he saves the girl. That part is good. I think it’s a wee bit too busy. I like the dog. Too many characters.
Some shots, it looks like a good Superman, while others, no. Lex looks great. Hoult killin it in every role. Cast him even more.
What Superman needs: More innovative rescue scenes. In fact, here’s just a thought, if someone dies in the news in real life, and it moves you, that should be a case study in, what if Superman was around to save? Well, film those scenes.
Oh, and the little boy is cute. Good scene, too. The beckoning for a hero.
Dude doesn’t have the Superman look, Superboy…maybe. Perhaps that’s what they’re going for – to show his evolution over several movies.
I am interested in seeing the movie, I’m not a huge superman fan, Spiderman is ma boi….but I saw some things in this trailer. I’m actually one of those people who never has seen a modern super movie all the way thru. I’ve only seen the Reeves movies.
No Superman fan but Krypto looks cute!
Some people did say the Cavill movies aged like fine wine. Gotta give Snyder credit here, this movie got better as it aged. In retrospect, it’s a classic. Really is. It was underrated and under hyped when it came out. One of the best. We had a great superhero era, in some respects.
Was thinking about a Superman scene that would be a huge middle finger to the globalists and that is, have people go outside and say that they just would like to not be sprayed profusely by Chem-trails for one damn day, as you see the chem-trail spray grid heavy in the sky. Clark Kent hears them as he is walking with them, he walks off and changes into Superman and flies into the sky, blowing the chem-trails away and leaving the sky clear and blue. Would take huge stones for a director to do that.
I get emotional at this first scene. An all time great.
I like this second trailer more than the first. A coherent explanation, but simple, about the plot.
Just read an article on this one about some award. I think it was covered, but at first, I did not think much of it. Then, someone pitched it as “a body-swapping machine at a pre-marriage party.” That sounds interesting. A body-swapping machine.
A group of friends gather for a pre-wedding party that descends into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend arrives with a mysterious game that awakens long-hidden secrets, desires and grudges.
Reminds me of Subservience or M3gan. I didn’t know she was a robot from the first trailer. I might check this out. Would like to see Jack Quaid make it, but Sophie Thatcher is a real star. She can flat out act.
“Shut her down already!” Whoa what the hell is going on in this?! Another robot on the loose? A robotic female companion that also might still be human? Iris is actually a robot – a “sex bot” to be precise – and it seems like Josh has been experimenting on her. Iris soon gets the upper hand though, increasing her intelligence and beginning a path of revenge over Josh’s controlling behaviour.
Check out the In The Lost Lands trailer for this upcoming movie starring Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on George R.R. Martin’s short story, the story centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, makes a daring play: she sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys (Mila Jovovich) to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of a magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Dave Bautista), must outwit and outfight man and demon.
In The Lost Lands is written by Paul W.S. Anderson and Constantin Werner. In The Lost Lands opens in theaters nationwide on March 7, 2025.
Starting to see more golf movies lately. Not that interested, personally, but I know a lot of people are really crazy about golf.
Luke Chisholm (Lucas Black) is a young golfer who’s about to take a swing at the big time. Luke, however, has a big blowup that makes national news, drives away his father/coach, and seemingly scuttles his once-promising career. While driving along a Texas backroad, Luke crashes through the fence of eccentric rancher Johnny Crawford (Robert Duvall). Johnny makes Luke an irresistible offer: spend a week with him in the tiny town of Utopia and see if Luke can change his life.
Actually meant to see the next one, but have not. A lot of movies now are on streaming, so this one was on Netflix. I would have seen it in theater.
In 1955, five young Mexican-American caddies, out of the love for the game, were determined to learn how to play, so they created their own golf course in the middle of the South Texas desert.
Shout out to Snarky Jay. She was on this.
Nope; as much as I enjoyed ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ despite my earlier doubts of that film I wouldn’t be surprised if this was like the other D+ Marvel shows and was a bait and switch. They’re most likely hiding the typical MCU humour from the trailer knowing that people would be angry if it was included in a Daredevil project.
