Yeah, so I’ve seen a few posts about visual novels and thought I’d throw my hat in the ring by listing some of the ones I’ve read, and I’m curious as to if any one else has read or heard of them. Or maybe you have your own to suggestions, or maybe you’re working on some right now. Let me know, thanks. With further ado, here’s the list.
Everlasting Summer – Summer Camp story in what I’m presuming is 1980s Russia, multiple endings. Free on Steam.
Katawa Shoujo – Guy with a heart condition ends up in a, I presume High School (can’t remember) with other students of varying disabilities. Free download, but you have to Google it or find the site.
ChuSingura 46+1 S – So 47 Ronin story except all the samurai are female, and it has time travel shenanigans. Only in Japanese though, to my knowledge. First Episode is Free on Steam.
Find Love or Die Trying – You get captured and forced to be part of a game show and have to find some type of way to escape. Free on Steam, multiple ends (to my memory).
Love, Money, Rock N Roll – Set in 1980s Japan, high school/spy thriller. Made by the same gents who did Everlasting Summer. Kick ass sound track by the way, that alone makes it one of my favorites.
Sunrider Mask of Arcadius – Tactical space ship battles (yes, there’s actually more of a game here) with some weighted choices and again, really good music, especially the intro. No seriously, look it up, NOW.
These are some of the best ones I’ve read so far. What’s yours?
