My picks for Round 1:
In the east we have:

In the west we have:
Golden Knights
Avalanche
Flames
Blues
I can’t believe the first game of the day is still going on, while the second game of the day has ended.
Calgary Flames winning game 1 verses the Dallas Stars, while the Columbus Blue Jackets/Tampa Bay Lightning are now in the fourth over time period.
It is finally over!
Brayden Point scored the game-winning goal at the 10:27 mark of quintuple overtime.
Quintuple = fifth.
It is now the fourth longest overtime game in Stanley Cup history, at 90 minutes and 27 seconds of overtime.
That is behind:
May 4, 2000 – Philadelphia 2, Pittsburgh 1, conference semifinal, 92 minutes and 01 seconds
April 3, 1933 – Toronto 1, Boston 0, semifinal, 104 minutes and 46 seconds
March 24, 1936 – Detroit 1, Montreal Maroons 0, semifinal, 116 minutes and 30 seconds.
Oh, on a side note.
The game that was going to be held after the Columbus Blue Jackets/Tampa Bay Lightning game #1 in the bubble city has been delayed till tomorrow, Wednesday Aug.12. at 11 AM eastern!
I don’t see how Columbus rallies back from this. I think Tampa’s probably moving on to the next round. I usually don’t predict things after one game, but I don’t see how you couldn’t be absurdly deflated after losing in 5OT.
Another OT game.
Only 1:13 into the second over time did the Bruins win over the Hurricanes.
Islanders beat Capitals in Games #1
Avalanche beat Coyotes in Game #1
Flyers beat Canadiens in Game #1
Canucks beat Blues in Game #1
Columbus Blue Jackets have evened the series versus the Tampa Bay Lightning after that heart breaking overtime game.
Vegas beat Chicago yet again, to be up 2 games to 0.
Carolina beat Boston in Game 2 to tie the series 1-1.
Dallas beat Calgary with under a minute in regular to take game #2 and even the series 1-1.
Avalanche beat Coyotes in Game #2, is up 2-0 in the series.
Canadiens beat Flyers in Game #2, the series is tied 1-1.
Canucks beat Blues in Game #2, is up 2-0 in the series.
