August 27, 2020 at 8:26 pm #186540I was seriously hoping the NHL would avoid this nonsense and just play hockey, but, this being 2020, that wasn’t gonna happen… Was hoping to be able to watch the Avs even the series tomorrow, but guess I’ll have to find something else to spend my time on.

I love pro sports but I refuse to support these leagues anymore when they are so tone deaf to their core audiences and the reason that we watch them in the first place. Not only that, supporting a group that is self-proclaimed Marxist is ignorant and treasonous to the very country we live in. Postponing play without realizing the context of the event that has the media riling everyone up is ignorant. I don’t care if he was black, white, yellow, blue, purple…convicted felon with a weapon not listening to the cops is asking for a bullet. He got everything he deserved because he decided to be a piece of human trash. They should all be happy that at least he’s still breathing…
The NBA acting like all they care about is their social justice, now the NHL. I can’t wait to see how badly the NFL is going to rate with them drowning themselves in social justice.
