As matter of fact, Platinum has never funded there own projects.
You could blame Activision for Legend of Korra and TMNT’s quality but they were still made by Platinum.
Now that the Chinese Overlords at Tencent own them, they will be able to self publish, but that just happened like 2 months ago.
And lets not be stupid fanboys, Microsoft wouldn’t have cancelled Scalebound that late in development unless their was a fundamental problem with it.
And it’s not like Nintendo (Bayo3’s publisher) has never cancelled a game before.
I’m not saying it will be cancelled. I sincerely hope not (Bayo1 is my favorite game of all time) but to say it’s impossible because Platinum is developing shows how little you know about the business side of gaming.
