I can’t edit it after the fact, but it’s not wrong. When I listed Macross, the ship I listed was called ASS-1. For Alien Star Ship 1. In Macross, it does get renamed to SDF-1 after it is repaired and prior to launch, for Super Dimensional Fortress. So the ship is indeed the SDF-1 Macross for the show.
The ASS-1 is just a fun piece of trivia knowledge. And it’s not often I get to use Ass in a serious way.
