Am I the only one watching older TV shows because they reflect the world before it went insane?

I have been buying DVD sets of  complete shows from the 80s/90s/ and early 2k.

There are some older shows I used to love I now avoid because while they were awesome (like MASH), they are about social/political issues and I just no longer have a desire to see that stuff.

The cool part is, there is a lot to pick from.

Here are some of my current favorites:

      – Forever Knight

      – Quantum Leap (a little political but it’s tolerable and it was just released on Blu-Ray)

      – Almost Human

      – DareDevil

      – Good Luck Charlie (yes it’s a teen show but it’s clean and normal and I like it)

      – Grimm

      – Hercules – The Legendary Journeys

      – The IT Crowd
