All we know is that it takes place at some point after the end of ME3, because we saw Liara in the teaser. Now, Liara is only just over 100 years old and can live up to 1000.
As for which ending, considering no one is green, and there were no friendly reprogrammed Reapers seen, it is probably the destruction ending, which is why I called it the probable canon ending.
