      I am sure those of you whom pay attention to current events know by now that the US Navy and Biden Admin knew about the implosion since last week.

      I love how the media are calling people like us “Keyboard warriors” for “nasty comments”🙄. I think they don’t seem to understand or realise that most people are fed up these days of billionaires doing stupid stuff to be “stunning and brave”. Not to mention that most billionaires were still galivanting around the world during “lockdown” back in 2020. Also, that guy’s comment about wanting to be rescued by a diverse rescue team didn’t help matters either.

        @DragonLady

        The media does the bidding of the political elite and as such sees themselves above everyone else.  They say nasty things to people because, like most politicians, they believe you are beneath them.  They HATE the fact that people can jump online and have as much or more influence as they do because it reminds them they are no different than anyone else at the end of the day.

        They knew the sub imploded days ago, but let the story continue and take the headlines.

        Some are trying to justify not releasing the information because it was “inconclusive”.

        That’s a half-truth at best.

        You must have known this was gonna happen:

        OceanGate, owner of submersible that imploded during Titanic dive, suspends operations

        The company that owned a submersible that fatally imploded on its way to explore the wreck of the Titanic said Thursday it has suspended operations.

        OceanGate, a company based in Everett, Wash., owned the Titan submersible that is believed to have imploded as it made its descent on June 18 in the North Atlantic, about 700 kilometres off the coast of Newfoundland.

        What has happened since then?

        The U.S. Coast Guard has convened a Marine Board of Investigation, its highest level of investigation, into the implosion and plans to hold a public hearing in the future.

        Public hearings?  Guess the company did not like that, nor that fact a Marine Board of Investigation has been convened.

        OceanGate is based in the U.S. and OceanGate Expeditions, a related company that led the Titan’s dives to the Titanic, is registered in the Bahamas.

        Oh, so this might be because of pending litigation/court actions against the company.

        And hiding in the Bahamas is one way of circumventing financial responsibilities to any US based court actions.

        The legitimacy of this transcript is being questioned but just imagine knowing the end is nigh and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it…
