This is kind of an annoying problem I’ve had. I find if you edit a post too many times (specifically if you uncheck the “keep a log of this edit” box), the post ends up disappearing from the forums completely. I don’t know if it’s actually deleted or somehow rendered “invisible,” because if you attempt to repost the forum detects it as being the same, marks it as spam and refuses to upload said post. Only way to get around is to modify what you originally said in some fashion. It makes me a bit nervous tampering with any of my posts, especially if all I want to do is make a few small changes or fix errors.

Yes I had that happen to me over the weekend.

Most recent posts would not show it.

Going to the community hub, it shows I mad a post in this board.

Go to the board…. it is not there.

But if I look into my history on my browser, and click on it, I am back in my thread.

I would then do a copy and create a new topic and paste the original in it.

The original never did come back.

As for the “SPAMMING”, I noticed that for that board I was writing/editing on my IP was temporarily marked as being refused by G&G.

While I agree with G&G that spamming is something to protect against, it IS annoying after having spent so much time trying to make sure our posts are as good as we can make them, getting denied, timed out, etc.

I have been having to copy to clipboard when I start a lengthly post (incase I time out), and do the edit/no keep record to stay within the time out.
